About Averys Motorcycles

Averys Motorcycles is a family business with roots stretching back to the years following the Second World War.

Our story began when our Grandad returned from the war and established his own motorcycle business, built around a passion for two wheels and a strong connection to the local riding community. Through the 1960s and 1970s, the business became a well-known motorcycle dealership representing iconic brands including Lambretta, BSA and Honda during some of the most exciting years in British motorcycling history.

Like many independent motorcycle businesses of the era, the original dealership eventually changed hands during the 1980s as the industry evolved and the market changed.

After skipping a generation, the Averys Motorcycles name returned in 2010 with a fresh direction for modern riders. Combining a motorcycle clothing, parts and accessories business alongside a rider training school, the aim was simple — provide honest advice, quality products and genuine experience from people who actually ride motorcycles themselves.

Over the years we have supplied riders across the UK with motorcycle clothing, helmets, accessories, maintenance products and workshop essentials from trusted brands within the industry.

Following the changes brought by Covid and the continued shift within the motorcycle retail industry, Averys Motorcycles evolved once again into a fully online business. Today we focus entirely on supplying quality motorcycle products through our online store while continuing the family tradition that started more than 70 years ago.

Although the industry has changed dramatically since the days of Lambrettas and British singles filling the workshop floor, the core values behind the business remain exactly the same: honest customer service, fair pricing, genuine product knowledge and a real passion for motorcycles
