ThunderBox

Advanced power distribution module from Healtech Electronics

Heated motorbike grips, GPS, phone chargers, extra gauges, and more – Healtech has the solution for all your aftermarket motorcycle needs!

Connecting electric add-ons has never been easier. With the ThunderBox, you can quickly and safely connect your auxiliary equipment to your vehicle using the tool-free terminal blocks supplied. Simply plug in the wires and you’re set!

The ThunderBox is available in two versions: 16A (TB-U01) and 2x16A (TB-U02). It features advanced technology, including multiple working modes (automatic and ignition key controlled), constant electronic protection (overcurrent and short circuit), and a fuseless design.

The ThunderBox simplifies and safeguards the process of connecting aftermarket electronic accessories to your vehicle. It acts as an automatic and easy-to-handle power distributor between the battery and the accessories. With the quick-connect terminal blocks supplied, installation is quick and simple, requiring no tools or specialist knowledge.

The ThunderBox not only extends battery life but also protects your bike’s electric system from overloading and short circuits. Get your power issues sorted – lightning fast!

The ThunderBox is quick and simple to use. Connect it directly to the battery terminals and choose between fully automatic or ignition key-controlled operation. Then, connect your auxiliary equipment quickly and safely to the tool-free terminal blocks supplied. Just plug in the wires and you’re good to go!

The ThunderBox operates in three different modes. Depending on the connection of the WHITE control wire, you can select between automatic mode, ignition key mode, or a combination of both.

Automatic mode: When the engine is started and runs evenly, the ThunderBox switches the power outputs ON. When the engine is stopped, after a few seconds, the ThunderBox switches the outputs OFF.

Ignition key mode: When the ignition key is turned on, the ThunderBox switches the power outputs ON. When the ignition key is turned off, the ThunderBox switches the power outputs OFF.
Ignition-controlled mode: The TB switches the outputs ON/OFF (with a few seconds delay) following the ignition key switch position.

Stay-off mode: Even when a battery charger is connected, the TB won’t turn the outputs ON. This is useful during winter storage as a trickle charger won’t activate the TB.

Awesome tech:

The TB constantly monitors the battery voltage, engine state (running/off), and the outputs, then automatically switches the loads on/off. It isolates/disables the power supply to the accessories until the engine is started and running smoothly, ensuring 100% battery power is always available for starting. This fully automated process results in trouble-free starts and enhanced battery life.

Small but tough:

Healtech uses only the best components and technology to create products that can withstand the harshest environments. The TB has no moving parts, relays, or fuses. Inside the rugged plastic case, the circuitry is encased in epoxy resin, making it fully oil and water resistant, shock and vibration proof.

Wide compatibility:

The TB is compatible with ALL vehicles using a 12V battery system (all battery types and capacities are supported), including all motorcycles, cars, ATVs/UTVs, kit cars, and even lawnmower trucks.

USB charger:

A weatherproof USB charger (part no.: TB-USB1) is available separately so that power to your USB devices will be turned on/off automatically and protected. You can connect multiple USB chargers to one TB unit.

New, extended power cable version!

The new TB is available with a 20cm longer battery connection cable (50cm instead of 30cm). Recent adventure bikes like the new Honda Africa Twin require extra cable length to enable the unit to be mounted under the seat.
